  • Who pays shipment if I return the goods?

    We hope you like your glasses and jewelry, but in case you don’t, you can return them within 14 days. You must cover the return shipping costs. You must send the goods in the same new unworn condition as you purchased them. Please note that there are no returns or exchanges for Limited Edition sunglasses or sunglasses purchased with prescription lenses. Return policy details can be found in Terms & Conditions.

  • Can I please have a discount?

    We are happy to announce that we DO have sales on occasion! Sign up to our newsletter for discounts and giveaways by entering your email at the top of the page. Like our Facebook page and follow us on Instagram to participate in “Friends only” sales and giveaways.

  • How is my order shipped?

    We ship via Ceska Posta (2-3 days) within Czech Republic and Ceska Posta (7-30 days) and DHL (3-5 days) internationally. Check the detailed information here.

  • Do you ship internationally?

    Yes, we ship to almost any country in the world. If you haven’t found your Country in our list, please contact  us at shop@qiggs.com and we’ll make our best to serve you.

  • What type of payment do you accept?

    We gladly accept major credit cards such as Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover or direct payments, all through our PayPal checkout system. GoPay service for Czech Republic and Slovakia, providing it’s payment gateway for most of Czech banks and not only (Now in testing mode!) If problems occur with GoPay system, please switch to PayPal, it’s easy and secure, and inform us at info@qiggs.com. Consult our Shipping & Payment page for details.

  • Do you have an offline shop?

    Not yet. But you can try our sunglasses and other products in our showroom in Brno, Czech Republic, on Lidicka street. NOTE: Only at previous agreement! To make an appointment please contact shop@qiggs.com. Except for that you can see our stand during one of the Fashion and design Markets we take part in. Follow our blog and Facebook page for Markets schedule updates.

Product questions

  • Can I polarize my sunglasses?

    Polarized lenses may be either with only one side of the lens having the polarized film, or the two sides of the lenses can have a polarized film sandwiched between them. These lenses are usually clear or might have some tint, but the tint does not specify the level of polarization that a lens has.

    It is important to understand that polarization is not merely a coating like the gradient tints that are applied on sunglass lenses for style and color vision. In fact, polarization is a complete technological process which involves the etching and crafting of tiny vertical lines on the surface of the sunglass lens, which prevent the horizontally reflected light from penetrating and passing through the lens.

    The original lens cannot be converted into a polarized lens, as the technique for creating the protective lenses entails a certain specific manufacturing method which cannot be applied like a coat on a lens.

  • How to take care of wooden sunglasses?
    Treat wooden sunglasses as any other sunglasses – with care. Clean sunglasses with a soft cloth, don’t expose to water, don’t sit on them, don’t carry in a back pocket with keys, backpack etc without a protective case. Generally use a protective hard case where possible.

  • Will the sunglasses fit my face?

    All sunglasses are fabricated with premium quality spring hinges for self-adjusting fit and comfort. Have a look at our How to ChooseSunglasses Guide to make your choice easier. Most of classical models fit most of the population, however it’s a matter of choice. If sunglasses don’t fit you you can return them within 14 days according to our Return policy.

  • Can I get prescription lenses into wooden frames?

    Not yet. It’s difficult to find optometrists experienced in working with wood, so we don’t recommend asking your optician to modify our sunglasses. Also don’t remove the lenses from wooden sunglasses you purchased in our shop because you can lose warranty. But based upon customer demand, we are striving to launch our prescription series soon. They will be specially designed to insert prescription lenses to wooden frames.

  • Do your sunglasses have polarized lenses? What is polarization? Is it good?

    Lenses of most of sunglasses presented on qiggs.com are polarized, information about each specific model can be found on it’s respective product page. Though many are skeptical of the difference polarized lenses make, they do regulate light that passes through the lens, reducing the glare and offering higher visibility and a crisper view than your traditional lens.

  • Are the sunglasses safe to eyes?

    Sunglasses have UV filters and polarization. They are CE certified.

  • Aren’t wooden sunglasses heavier than plastic ones?

    They are actually much lighter. In fact most plastics used in sunnglass frames have higher density than wood. Bamboo frames are extraordinary lightweight and they even float! Check out our test of bamboo sunglasses for details.

  • How are Wooden sunglasses sustainable?

    We only use 100% sustainable woods, like Bamboo. Bamboo is a truly sustainable harvested grass that regenerates at least 8 times faster than hardwood. Not only does bamboo mature rapidly, but harvesting does not kill the plant. We do not use any rare, exotic, or endangered woods in our products.
